Steel Fighters beginner guide
The short version. Start by redeeming the free codes, then work through this.
1. Make scrap before you make robots
Junk is the first loop and the one everything else is built on. Grab junk in the junkyard, carry it home, get scrap. Scrap buys parts, parts become robots. If you are short on everything, you are short on scrap - go back to junk before you go back to the lever.
2. Pull the lever, then build one robot properly
The lever is the parts shop, and it is where Luck titles pay off. Build one robot with the best head, torso and limbs you have pulled, then put every upgrade you can into that one instead of spreading upgrades across five mediocre robots. One good robot clears floors; five half-built ones do not.
3. Floors and bosses are the arena climb
The arena is a floor climb with bosses in the way. Bosses pay cash, floors count towards the milestone titles (100, 125 in space, 200, 300). If a floor keeps beating you, the answer is almost always a better robot rather than a better attempt.
4. Titles are the progression that never resets
Rebirth resets your run; titles do not. That makes titles the thing worth chasing early. Equip one at a time and match it to what you are doing: a Luck title while you pull from the lever, an Arena Damage title before a floor push, a Cash title when you are farming. The tier list ranks them by how much buff you get for the requirement.
5. Rebirth, PVP, raids and the Steel Pass
Rebirth is the long loop and it feeds the Reborn and Phoenix titles. PVP (Duelist) and junkyard raids (Raider) are side modes that pay their own titles. The Steel Pass is the seasonal track - the free tiers are free progression, and the Premium track is what Steel Champion sits behind. Sources do not publish pass contents, so this page does not guess at them.
